calvatron® NX11 series
The NX11 is a high-performance treatment system for single-sided corona treatments for films for printing and laminating systems. The system’s special electrodes and sturdy design enable it to achieve production speeds of over 1000 m/min. The power output stage, high-voltage transformer and control (PLC) are fully integrated in the system. Compact design, made of stainless steel (VA) and anodised aluminium.
The system’s user-friendly control unit comes with a touch panel and makes the corona pretreatment system easy to operate. The system’s many functions can be selected from the control's display. It comes with a central electrode gap adjustment unit that can be controlled with a handwheel.
All of the system components that open, such as the transformer door, are controlled with a safety limit switch. The quick-change systems on the roller bearings mean that the carrier roller electrodes can be quickly and easily fitted and removed.
The closed version of the NX series has been specially designed for corona treating physically and chemically cross-linked foams. NX series systems also include calvatron® HUMIDSTOP, which guarantees that they can be operated without any problems even at humidity levels of 99%.
The system can also optionally be equipped with a fully-automated working width and electrode gap adjustment system, which can be controlled through a touch panel.
In order to operate this system, you will also need one of our AA/AB series generators for generating the corona energy.
