Corona and plasma treatments enhance the surface properties of products in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. They optimise the surface structure of films, plastics and metals and increase coating adhesion. They also reduce cleaning requirements and eliminate the need for expensive adhesives and chemicals. They are quick to apply and delivered by efficient systems, which make them highly cost effective.
Used in conjunction with our calvasol® technology, they make it possible to create useful surface properties like adhesion, release, antifog, antistatic, barrier and antimicrobial in a single process step. This generates cost savings and makes it easier to recycle films.
Our innovative plasma jet can be used, among other things, to treat moulded parts and films in a cold or hot phase and hence makes it easy to increase the adhesive properties of a wide range of materials to the required level.
